Webinar supports Indigenous people in the skilled trades

The Canadian Apprenticeship Forum (CAF-FCA) is presenting a free webinar which offers holistic approaches and practices that support Indigenous learners on May 1, 2024.

The webinar is based on the findings of 50 interviews with Indigenous trades program administrators, tradespeople and knowledge keepers. Guest speakers will include Jana George, manager of research & policy development with Sisco and Associates Consulting and a member of Kettle & Stony Point First Nation (KSP), and Neesa Nahmabin, a research assistant with Sisco and a member of Aamjiwnaang First Nation.

The online event builds upon previous work by CAF-FCA related to evaluating success in pre-apprenticeship.
