The Ministry of Natural Resources has announced a $25.6-million investment in four Alberta municipalities, Calgary, St. Albert, Lethbridge and Canmore, to help residents make their homes more energy efficient.
The funding comes through the Green Municipal Fund, and is delivered through the Community Efficiency Financing initiative. Funding will help the cities implement new residential energy retrofit financing programs, including grants and loans to homeowners.
