Johnson Controls purchases Tempered Networks

Johnson Controls has acquired Seattle, WA-based Tempered Networks.

Tempered Networks produces a self-defense system for buildings that allows secure network access from cloud platforms, endpoint devices, edge gateways and service technicians. The acquisition allows Johnson Controls to use this technology to secure buildings data from edge to cloud.

Johnson Controls will rollout Tempered Networks’ platform across its OpenBlue AI-enabled platform and will embed its technology in several products and services.
