Danfoss celebrates official opening of Canadian office

(L – R) John Galyen, president of Danfoss North America and Randy Ross, senior manager of HR for Danfoss in Canada, cut the ribbon to officially open the company’s Oakville, ON facility.

Danfoss North America is celebrating the official opening of its new Canadian office and training centre in Oakville, ON. The facility opened in December 2020 but the ribbon-cutting event was delayed due to the pandemic.

The Oakville facility, which includes meeting space for customers and distributors, employs 36 people in the Danfoss Climate Solutions, Danfoss Drives and Danfoss Power Solutions business segments.

“This office offers a home for all three business segments, allowing our colleagues greater interaction with each other and facilitating an open, collaborative environment that can strengthen our position as a leader in the green transition,” says John Galyen, president, Danfoss North America. “Canada is an important market for us. We have strong customers working on innovative solutions and technologies.”
