HRAI announces presenters for AGM

The Heating, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Institute of Canada (HRAI) has announced the speaker lineup for its 53rd annual general meeting, taking place virtually September 23, 2021 at 11 a.m. EST.

The meeting will begin with a presentation by Phillippe Dunsky of Dunsky Energy, titled “Big Savings for Canadians with Government Electrification Plans through Ground-Source Heat Pumps.” Dunsky is followed by Huw Williams, president of Impact Public Affairs, discussing “Opportunities & Challenges for the HVAC/R Sector with a New Parliament in Place.”

In addition, Rob Flipse, chair of HRAI, will deliver the chair’s annual report, Frank Diecidue, director of HRAI operations, will present the operations and financial report, and Martin Luymes, vice president of government and stakeholder relations for HRAI, will look at the year in review and future opportunities.

The presentations will be followed by break-out sessions for divisional AGMs for wholesalers, manufacturers and contractors. At 2 p.m. there will also be a contractor’s town hall session.
