CAF-FCA is looking for presenters to participate in its National Apprenticeship Conference, taking place May 29 to 31, 2022 in Halifax.
The conference program will highlight initiatives on three themes – recovery, resilience and readiness – and is looking for research presentations in each area.
Recovery – This theme focuses on workforce trends impacting Canada’s economic recovery and programs supporting diverse, equitable and inclusive workplaces. Presentations are also welcome on supporting apprentice mental health.
Resilience – Initiatives featured under this theme include new approaches to traditional on-the-job and technical training due to COVID-19, as well as the future of restrictions and safety protocols.
Readiness – Initiatives will be showcased that support skilled trades work-readiness, such as pre-apprenticeship programs, essential skills training and exam support techniques, as well as strategies linked to apprentice candidate preparation, success and completion.
