Women in HVACR Canada and the Heating, Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning Institute of Canada (HRAI) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU).
The agreement will promote and facilitate mutual cooperation and assistance between the two associations, while providing comprehensive services to their members.
“Women in HVACR Canada are thrilled to collaborate with HRAI on these important issues! Our members represent every aspect of the industry from students to business owners, both on and off the tools,” say Women in HVACR Canada co-founders Nathalie Brooks, of Brooks Heating & Air, and Shelley Vallée-Ewing of Vista Services. “We are eager to lend our voice to ensure there are enough qualified and talented people to meet the future demands of the industry and the HVAC/R needs of Canadian businesses and homeowners alike.”
Women in HVACR promotes the inclusion and advancement of women in the Canadian HVAC/R industry. The organization offers networking, education, mentoring and professional development activities designed to support women in advancing their careers.
