Applications open for MCAC’s Richard McKeagan Scholarship Series
The Mechanical Contractors Association of Canada (MCAC) is now accepting applications for its 2021 Richard McKeagan Scholarship Series.
Each year the scholarship series, named after past-CEO Richard McKeagan, awards almost $16,000 to post-secondary students studying in the mechanical contracting and mechanical engineering fields. There are several different scholarships under the series, including new initiatives for female apprentices and women working in the mechanical field.
The fund is supported by MCAC associate members and partners, and has awarded more than $60,000 since launching in 2006. Members and partners offering scholarships include Bradford White Canada, Federated Insurance, Masco/Delta, MCA Hamilton-Niagara, Reliance Worldwide, Uponor, the Women in Mechanical Construction initiative, and the Associate Membership of MCA Canada, which funds a MCAC Associate Member Scholarship.
