MSA Safety Inc. has purchased New Kensington, PA-based Bacharach, Inc. and its affiliated companies.
Bacharach produces gas detection technology used in the HVAC/R industry, and has approximately 200 employees in Canada, the U.S. and Ireland. The transaction is expected to close in early July.

MSA manufactures safety products for a wide range of industries, including construction. The company is headquartered in Cranberry Township, PA, and has 40 locations and approximately 5,000 employees worldwide.
