ASHRAE moving to new net-zero energy global HQ
ASHRAE is moving to its global headquarters to a new net-zero energy building located 10 miles north of its previous location at 180 Technology Parkway, Peachtree Corners, Ga.
“ASHRAE’s new global headquarters is a prime example of how we are helping to pioneer a movement that many expect will ultimately make net-zero energy the ‘new norm’ in sustainable design and construction,” said ASHRAE building ad hoc committee chair Ginger Scoggins.
Planners project the rooftop and ground mounted photovoltaic solar energy system design currently in progress will be installed by March 2021. Other building features include a radiant ceiling panel system, overhead fresh air distribution, six water-source heat pumps, demand control ventilation, and more.
