Barbara O’Reilly has been promoted to general manager for Rheem Canada.
O’Reilly, who will report to Mike Branson, president — Air, began her career in the plumbing and heating industry with Rheem Canada in 1980. Beginning as a customer support representative, she has held roles of increasing responsibility.
Branson said, “She is a deeply committed leader who has shaped incredible results while endlessly pushing our sales strategy and acting as the ‘voice of our customer’ throughout her career.”
O’Reilly is active within industry committees and has served with multiple charitable associations. Additionally, she is an enthusiastic advocate for women in business, establishing an dleading the Rheem Canada Women in Business Mentorship group. She is also chair of the Canadian Institute of Plumbing and Heating women’s network.
Barbara assumes the general manager’s role from Dave McPherson, who will be retiring at the end of the year after 37 years with Rheem Canada.
Meanwhile, Cyril Koval has accepted the role of commercial sales manager and will join the Rheem Canada team effective November 18.
Koval brings to the table more than 15 years’ experience in a B2B sales environment, where he has built relationships with key industry individuals at the wholesale, distributor, architect, contractor, and sales agency levels.
