Stanley Black & Decker Canada pitching in for Habitat for Humanity
Stanley Black & Decker (SBD) Canada employees donated their time and talents on August 7 to work on eight homes in the Greater Toronto Area and two more in Calgary in support Habitat for Humanity Build Days.
On August 22, two teams of Montreal employees will take part in the Habitat Quebec build on rue Bourassa.
Habitat Build Days have become annual events for Stanley Black & Decker Canada employees. After the day on the site, the Dewalt and Stanley tools used in the builds are donated to the local Habitat for Humanity organizations.
“Our relationship with Habitat for Humanity is a long and important one,” stated Joe Di Ilio, president of Stanley Black & Decker Canada. “We support Habitat in many ways, including volunteer builds and tool support. SBD employees enjoy the Build Days and are proud to take part in any Habitat project. We are committed to continuing to work with this wonderful organization in communities across the country.”
