Cintas Canada is again inviting the public to help it find Canada’s Best Restroom.

Entries will be judged based on five criteria: cleanliness, visual appeal, innovation, functionality and unique design elements. Whether it’s elegant and modern or quirky and colourful, if a washroom stands out to you, Cintas wants to hear about it.

Five finalists will be announced in July and the public will then have an opportunity to vote for the 2019 grand prize winner, which will receive $2,500 in facility services from Cintas to help maintain their award-winning restroom.

Last year, St. Albert Honda in St. Albert, Alta, took home the title for its vehicle-themed washrooms which promote cleanliness and convenience and boast automated fixtures and deluxe baby changing stations in both the female and male washrooms.

”We were blown away by the red-carpet experience that we received from Cintas Canada when we were named Canada’s Best Restroom,” said dealership owner Ross Hodgins.

”The media coverage we received during the contest gave the dealership national exposure and we still have customers stopping in to see our washrooms. It’s great to know that so many Canadians take as much pride in clean washrooms as we do.”
