Get in the know at AHR Expo

January 7, 2019

It’s not just the chance to see thousands of new products that draws the crowds to the AHR Expo. Many visitors also use the show as a chance to build knowledge and deepen their understanding of all aspects of the industry.

At the AHR Expo in Atlanta, Georgia, from January 14-16, visitors will be able to choose from hundreds of seminars and product demonstrations provided by experts both on the show floor and in the classroom.

The expansive educational program will feature more than 120 sessions, including free best practices and industry trends seminars from leading HVACR organizations, continuing education programs from the ASHRAE Learning Institute (ALI), rapid-fire product presentations and professional certification opportunities.

At the New Product and Technology Theater at the Georgia World conference exhibition space, more than 80 free 20-minute presentations will be offered, giving an overview of an exhibitor’s product before a demonstration on the exhibit floor. Top industry organizations will also be providing more than 50 free seminars that run for 1-2 hours and cover a range of topics, including cybersecurity, marketing and virtual reality training.

ASHRAE is also putting on a number of half- and full-day continuing education courses that run from January 12 to 15 and require advance registration and a fee to attend. Topics include the fundamentals of the commissioning process, laboratory design basics and optimizing indoor environments.
