Mike Breault, Watts’ senior technical instructor and senior instructional designer, shows off some of the new training modules at the company’s Watts Works learning centre in St. Pauls, N.C.

Watts Water Technologies unveiled its latest Watts Works Learning Center in May, holding a grand opening to celebrate the occasion. Located in the company’s St. Pauls, N.C. facility, the 3,000 sq. ft. training centre features classroom space as well as a lab showcasing several of the company’s technology offerings.

Located just outside of Fayetteville, N.C., the St. Pauls facility was acquired when Watts purchased Mueller Steam Specialty line in 2005. More recently, the 220,000 sq. ft. building has been transformed with the new training space, as well as with numerous changes to the manufacturing and warehousing workflow systems that are in place at the facility.

”We take quality very seriously,” stated John Palotta, Watts’ vice-president of its Carolina operations, as he led a touring that included a look at some of the state-of-the-art CNC machinery being used. ”Our customers will not come back if we are not providing a quality product.”

The company will offer product training and tours to contractors and engineers wishing to learn more about its pipes, drains, valves, rainwater control stations, backflow preventers and other plumbing and heating offerings.
