On the show’s second day, Andre takes the stage to discuss natural refrigerants and the future. End users interested in learning more about how refrigerants are adapting to meet increasing regulations will want to mark this session on their calendar. He will also cover refrigeration industry trends, natural refrigerant options and the architectures they are deployed within.

Andre is responsible for developing the North American marketing and strategy pertaining to Emerson’s food retail and chiller market. He has more than 33 years of industry experience in sales, marketing, training and business development of HVAC/R systems.

The mind behind Quattro’s Corner, Andrew will present: Plumbing – From the Eyes of a Plumbing Inspector – a Pictographic Journey. This session includes a discussion of what plumbers and general inspectors may come across when reviewing houses and small buildings. He shares tips on things to look for when inspecting common mistakes of the trade, water service, inside drains, rough-ins for stacks, wastes and vents, and water distribution.

In addition to his position in Oro, Andrew is a licensed plumber and a director with the Ontario Plumbing Inspectors Association.

Friday, March 23

Bob “Hot Rod” Rohr – Caleffi

On Friday afternoon, Hot Rod will take stage to discuss magnetic separation. Magnetite can damage circulators and reduce heat transfer in boilers and emitters. Hot Rod, training and education manager for Caleffi Hydronic Solutions, will cover the causes of magnetite and how to protect systems from damage.

Dedicated to excellence in education, Hot Rod has developed an online training library to assist tradesmen and industry professionals, and has been a presenter and trainer for various trade groups for more than 30 years.
